Fire extinguishers are for dealing with fires there are various different types of fire extinguisher each one useful for fighting particular types of fires using the wrong one could lead to making matters worse so care must be taken when selecting the right extinguisher for the right type of fire.

Below is a chart of fire extinguisher types and you will see across the top of the chart the various different types it is useful to remember these classifications and extinguisher types as you will likely encounter questions on them in your 201 exam.
